Lazy late afternoon

This tranquil seascape was captured from the shoreline below the Yacht Club, Hamilton Island, Queensland. Just a few weeks before the sea had not been so kind. In April 2017 a fierce category 4 cyclone named Debbie ( why do they give these storms such pretty names?) devastated the Whitsundays, leaving in ruins many boats and buildings and laying waste much of the vegetation. Amazing how quickly people and places recover. After all this, how pleasant to drift along on a gentle tide in a calm sea while the sun slowly subsides in a blue sky sprinkled with a handful of friendly clouds. Apparently the Whitsundays are now even better than ever. True Ozzy grit!
