Hoar frost bin the Lathkill Dale 3
Terry Baker
printed on Giclée Epson Semi-Gloss
Image captured along the Lathkill Dale in the Peak District National Park. Third in a series of three showing a hard frost on a bone-chilling December morning. The narrow track is just about to clear the steep rocky sides of this spectacular dale and beyond the far trees the path opens out into a gentler valley. Walking the Lathkill Dale is surely a must for the keen rambler and lover of the countryside. It is so full of scenic variety and has a rich history; lead was mined here for many years and mine entrances are to be found dotted along the length of the dale. A terrific walk, even in the coldest weather!
