Disruption of the Celestial Spheres

The universe is composed of spheres which play out a perpetual and finely tuned dance. They are the spheres of air, fire, water, the sun and moon, the planets, and finally the sphere of the fixed stars.
The Primum Movens (the first mover - God?) activates the Primum Mobile (the first moved) which gives motion to the outer sphere. This in turn activates the inner spheres.
Thus is the universe endowed with energy right down to the very tiniest spheres, the quantum bubbles of which space itself is made.
What if the primum movens were to go mad?
What a disruption that would be!
