A dwelling for timeworn ghosts

A place now suitable only for ghosts is this ruined interior of a long abandoned dwelling. Taken in rural Normandy the image was captured on monochrome film. This was digitised and further developed in Photoshop to enhance the structural complexity and textures of the wood and plaster. Sepia and red colour filters were selectively applied to mimic the effect gold toning would have on a traditional silver image print. A place for ghosts indeed.
